Arthur Thomas Doodson

Dr. Arthur Thomas Doodson (1890 - 1968) passed the major part of its life has to analyze the tides. It was first has to describe the phenomist in not very deep water (" shallow water") in particular in the coastal regions and the estuaries. It also developed a method of prediction heights and currents of tides based on the observation and the method of least squares.
