Arthur Lee (diplomatic)
Arthur Lee (1740 - 1792), was a American Diplomate during the Guerre of American independence. His/her brothers William Lee, Richard Henry Lee, and Francis Lightfoot Lee were also American diplomats at the time of this war.
It starts studies of Médecine, but then decides to make studies of Droit. During the war of independence, it is sent by the American Congrès towards the Spain and the Prussia to obtain their support, but it fails.
It joined then Paris with Benjamin Franklin and Silas Deane where they finally manage to obtain a important military support on behalf of France.
The Virginia sent it like deputy at the time of the congress of 1782.
