Arthur, king of the Celts

Arthur, king of the Celts or the King of the Celts ( Arthur off the Britons ) are a British Televised series of 24 30 minutes episodes, created by Peter Miller, Robert Banks Stewart and Terence Feely, and diffused between the December 6th 1972 and the November 28th 1973 on BBC. In France, two or three episodes were diffused in 1973 - 1974 on the first chain of ORTF then twelve starting from the May 21st 1977 on TF1. In Belgium, twelve episodes were diffused in 1973 by RTB and thirteen in 1975 by RTL-TV.

Synopsis

This series puts in scene the life of Arthur in the England of the 6th century which must face the invasions of the Angles and the Saxon ones.

Comments

A video entitled King Arthur, the Young Warlord , joining together only five of the episodes carried out, of it was drawn in 1975. It was translated into French in 1987 under the title the Adventures of the king Arthur (RCV 30504).
