Summary resulting from Warcraft III: Reign off Chaos
Arthas was first of all prince, the prince of his native soil, Lordaeron, located in the world of Azeroth. Arthas promised a bright future of king, it was liked of its people. It was also the youngest paladin and most promising and protected from Uther Lightbringer, hero of the first two wars, and founder of the Main of money.But its future was compromised by dark days, and the advent of the return of the Burning Légion. Whereas it was on mission, inquiring into a mysterious epidemic which decimated its people, it learned that this one had been caused by a necromancian of the name of Kel' Thuzad. Arthas killed Kel' Thuzad, which revealed to him that its death would not change anything. Indeed, nothing was arranged. A Seigneur of Fear of the name of Mal' Ganis decided to corrupt a whole village, Stratholme. Arthas, not being able to support that, still preferred to kill the inhabitants of its own hand, thus preventing Mal' Ganis from corrupting them. Then, he wanted to kill Mal' Ganis. But this last flees towards Northrend. Arthas decided to continue it.
But once arrived in Northrend, a messenger came to inform his men that by order of the king, advised by Uther Lightbringer, everyone should turn over to Lordaeron. Arthas engaged then of the mercenaries to run all the ships which were to bring back them on their premises, then lied to its men in their making believe that the mercenaries had attacked the boats of full liking and that they had to be killed. It any more but did not remain to finish the mission before being able another to return. But it was obvious that it would be impossible to overcome thealive ones of Mal' Ganis. However, Muradin Bronzebeard, a dwarf King of the Mountain which fought with dimensions of Arthas, had spoken to him about a runic sword, Frostmourne, sufficiently powerful to be able to tip the scales on the side of Arthas. Arthas decided to recover the sword, which he managed to do. Thanks to its capacity, it succeeds in overcoming Mal' Ganis.
However, the sword was cursed: Muradin mourrut when Arthas had recovered it and especially, it had been enchanted by the King Liche Ner' zhul, ordering Plague, so as to capture the hearts of the men. The King Liche spoke in Arthas through Frostmourne and could give him orders. Arthas became completely insane. It returned in Lordaeron, where a triumphing reception was held for him. But Arthas, whereas his/her father, Terenas Menethil, congratulated it, killed this last. Thereafter, it was not more doubt for anybody than it had definitively joined the camp of Death-alive, and had become Chevalier of Died the. Thereafter, a Lord of the Fear of the name of Tichondrius gave him his instructions. It ressuscita Kel' Thuzad, so that this one can launch the invocation of Archimonde, ordering Burning Légion, after having massacred the people of Quel' Thalas and having transformed Sylvanas Windrunner into banshee. Thanks to the assistance of Arthas, the invocation succeeds.
Summary resulting from Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne
After the defeat of Archimonde, Arthas took again the command of the Plague.The power of King Liche starting to weaken, it was victim of plots of the Lords of Fear and Sylvanas Windrunner, but which been able to count on the assistance of its majordomo, Kel' Thuzad, like on the assistance of Nerubiens in order to defending Ner' zhul, King Liche, against an imminent danger: Illidan Stormrage which had received the order to destroy it. Illidan Stormrage was followed from there, come to prevent it putting the crown of Ner' Zhul and from becoming new King Liche. But Illidan lost the combat. Arthas became thus new King Liche. --> Finally, Arthas succeeds in defending King Liche, and after having climbed the Trône of Ice, brought Frostmourne to King Liche and crashed to pieces with this weapon the prison of ice, releasing the armor-body of Ner' zhul, whose Arthas was covered. Starting from this moment, Arthas and Ner' zhul amalgamated their spirits and made nothing any more but one entity, reigning on the Plague…
In World off Warcraft
Today, King Liche would have builds a fortress around the glacier of Icecrown, fortress lodging several thousands of soldiers of the Plague. With this fortress, the glacier will off become a keep of high difficulty of the next extension of famous MMORPG World Warcraft, named Wrath off the Lich King, which would lead to the Throne of Ice where the players will be able to face King Liche, who would be, according to the rumors, the most powerful boss of the play…
