Artaxias Ier of Georgia
Artaxias Ier of Georgia king of Karthlie (Ibérie).
The Géorgienne Chronicle names it Archac and regards it as a son of the Arsacide Arsace (?). It allots reign a 12 years to him of 90 with 78 av. J. - C. during which it would have increased all the citadels of Georgia and strengthens the ramparts of the town of Tsounda.
Its membership of the Arsacide dynasty was called into question by the modern authors of which Cyrille Toumanoff which regards it as a Artaxiade and a son of the king d' Arménie Artavazde II.
