Artaxias III Zénon
Zénon Artaxias or Ardachès III (13.av. J.C - 34.ap. J.C) king of Arménie of 18 with 34.
Zénon was the son of Polémon Ier king of the Pont and of Pythodoris de Trallès. It was selected as king customer of Arménie by Germanicus after the expluson of the applicant Parthian; Vononès Ier .
Tacite specifies us about it that " since its more tender childhood he imitated the traditions and the way of life of the Armenians, hunting, the banquets and the liked practices of the Barbarians, also it had stuck pareillement the large ones and the peuple".
Germanicus thus placed on its head with approval of noble and in the middle of the multidude the badge of the royalty in the town of Artaxata. The Armenians paid homage to him and greeted it royal name of Artaxias or Ardachès III .
Its reign thus marks a new period of Roman protectorate on the country.
