Artaban V
Artaban V was the last king of the Parthes. It reigned of 216 with 224.
Second wire of the king Vologèse V, it reigned on the Médie and was opposed to his brother Vologèse VI that it détrôna.
Become " Large Roi" , it supported the war against Caracalla and Macrin, and forced this last to buy peace. It itself was beaten and killed the 22 or April 28th 224 with Hormizdaghan by Artaxerce (Ardachîr I {{er}}), founder of the Sassanides. With him finishes the empire of Parthes and the dynasty of the Arsacides.
