Art nouveau in Italy

If the Italy is quoted for its artists and its achievements Art nouveau, that is surely due to its situation offset taking into consideration current much more in the north which crossed Europe. But the art nouveau is nevertheless present there under the name of Stile Liberty .

Artists like Raimondo d' Aronco, Ernesto Basile, Giuseppe Velati Bellini, Giovanni Beltrano, Giuseppe Brega, Carlo Bugatti, Galileo Chini, Pietro Fenoglio, Giovanni Michelazzi, Giuseppe Sommaruga and Antonio Vandone have work there.

The art nouveau is especially present in two cities:

Milan with in particular two streets which concentrate the majority of architectural works: via Piscane and it via Malpighi and Turin which sheltered the Exposition of Decorative Arts of 1902 but it is possible to find other achievements with Varèse or Florence.
