Art Babbitt
Arthur Harold Babitsky , more known under the name Art Babbitt (October 8th 1907 – March 4th 1992), was an American organizer recognized for its work within the Walt Disney Company.
Biography
Art Babbitt was born the October 8th 1907 with Omaha in the Nebraska with the the United States.In 1929, Art Babbitt works in the studios Terrytoons lately created by Paul Terry with New York. It meets there Bill Tytla which becomes his/her comrade of room and a great friendship is born between the two men. In 1931, Babbitt leaves Paul Terry to work with Walt Disney because of a more interesting work and better conditions. Babbitt flies away for the California but request with his/her friend to come to join it as soon as possible. It does it during two years before Tytla comes on the west coast in 1934.
In 1932, Babbitt enters to for the studios Disney, begins on the short films and develops the movements characteristic of Dingo.
He then works on feature-length films such as the three small Pigs (1933), Blanche Snow and the 7 dwarves (1937), Fantasia (1940). He animated for Blanche Snow the character of the Reine/Sorcière and Geppetto for Pinocchio (1940), the Cigogne in Dumbo (1941) as well as mushrooms dancing in Fantasia .
But Babbitt returns to the Disney studios about 1946-1947 and still take part in some films until in 1948 which leave the following years
