Arsenal Ladies Football Club
Arsenal Ladies Football Club is an English club of female Football affiliated with Arsenal FC. Founded in 1987 by its current manager Vic Akers, it is the club more titrated English female football.
History
The club is founded by Vic Akers which is also the manager of the equipment of Arsenal FC. The girls gain their first major title, the Coupe of the League in 1991-1992. The Championnat of England of female football is founded in 1992 and they gain the first title. Until 2007 they already gained 15 titles, absolute records.
Arsenal gained the championship with 8 recoveries and the Cut of the League 9 times.
The season 2006-2007 was more ostentation of the history of the club since that the players gained the three national cuts but also the female UEFA Cup by beating the Swedish club of Umea IK finally 1-0. Arsenal Ladies is thus the first English club to gain this competition. On the whole Arsenal represented England 5 times in this competition joining together the best female clubs of Europe and had already reached the semi-finals twice (in 2002-03 and 2004-05).
Moreover, during the season 2006-07, Arsenal Ladies gained all its matches of First League (22 victories) by marking 119 goals. The players finished even the season by a crushing victory 6-0 against Leeds United the May 20th 2007. Their last demolishes in championship goes up with the October 15th 2003 against Charlton Athletic.

Statute and international
In the beginning Arsenal is a club amateur, but becomes semi-professional in 2002. The majority of the players represent their country in national selection. Ten of them play thus for the England but the club has also international teams of Wales, Scotland and Irish Republic. On the whole 15 members of the current team already represented their country.Arsenal LFC has also a team reserves, which is trained of Academy d' Arsenal.

Stages
Arsenal Ladies plays the majority of its matches to the Meadown Park, residence of Isthmian League with Boreham Wood in the north of London. The stage with a capacity of 4.502 places but the majority of the matches attracts a hundred people.
Affiliation with Arsenal FC
Ladies are not a team of Arsenal but profits from a filiation. Thus the players of Vic Akers divide the same shirt and the same sponsor. Moreover once per annum the players play Highbury replaced today by the Emirates Stadium.
