Ars-in-D
Ars-in-D is a common French, located on the Ile de Ré, chief town of the Canton of Ars-in-D, belonging to the Arrondissement of the La Rochelle in the department of the Charente-Maritime and the area Poitou-Charentes.
Geography
Village and small port (with wet dock) on the Northern coast and in the Western part of the Ile de Ré par.-
Located at the bottom it to trust of Ars (stretch of water returning to interior of the grounds and broadside of marsh) one reaches the port by a channel crossing the salt-water marshes.
- Beach on the southern part of the island, broadside of a dam, protecting the grounds, to the Western point of the island (Headlight of the Whales).
