Arrow Numbers
The arrow Nombres are a mathematical entertainment published by cerebral Sport in reviews like Logigram , Éleusis or Maximath . The concept does not seem to have gained success that its principle, completely independent of the language, should have been worth to him on a world level. A very similar play, named Kakuro, seems to have made him shade.
Principle
To place a figure (from 1 to 9) in each virgin box of the grid so that:- the sum of a continuation, vertical or horizontal, is worth the number appearing at its head;
- in a continuation, all the figures are different.
- each continuation, some of either order, or single in the grid (5+3+2 excludes 3+5+2);
This last rule is absent in traditional Kakuro and imposes a limit on the size of the grids.
- Example inspired by review LOGIGRAM (Cerebral Sport)
