Arrigo Boito
Arrigo Boito (February 24th 1842 with Padoue - June 10th 1918 with Milan) is a type-setter, a novelist and an Italian, known poet especially for its booklets of opera and its melodrama, Mefistofele .
Arrigo Boito composed the booklets of the operas Otello and Falstaff of Verdi according to Shakespeare like that of Gioconda of Ponchielli according to Victor Hugo.
It has also left us two Cantate S of youth and an unfinished opera: Nerone .
