Arranges of development aid to technical collaboration and
the Agency of development aid to technical collaboration and (ACTED) is a ONG Apolitique and not-denominational which comes to assistance of the populations victims of the war. Its seat is with Paris.
Creation
The first projects of the organization were set up in 1993 at Kabul in Afghanistan.
History
1993: The organization is founded in Afghanistan to come to assistance of a population weakened by a war which lasts.
1996: The activities of the organization extend to the frontier countries such as the Tadjikistan, the Ouzbékistan or the Kyrgyzstan to develop a regional strategy in Central Asia.
1997: Association opens offices in central Africa to come to assistance of the populations assigned by the conflict to the Congo-Brazzaville.
1998: The ACTED develops to come to assistance of the populations of Central America following the Mitch hurricane, and of Central Europe following the conflicts with the Kosovo,
2003: It gives its support for the Iraqis
2004: ACTED continues its engagement in central Africa while being established with the Chad and the Sudan following the crisis of the Darfur.
2005: Association begins in the emergency rebuilding in South Asia, after the catastrophe of the Tsunami, and currently acts in India, Indonesia and with the Sri Lanka, then in October 2005 opens Pakistan following the earthquake.
2006: ACTED starts of the operations in Lebanon following the crisis of July/August.

ACTED is present in 24 countries: France, Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, Ouzbékistan, Tadjikistan, Serbia, Macedonia, Nicaragua, Republic of Congo, Democratic republic of Congo, Iraq, Haiti, Sudan, Chad, India, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Jordan, Pakistan, Kenya, Cuba, Lebanon, occupied Palestinian Territories and Uganda and develops each year approximately 150 projects.
