Arrakis

Arrakis is the name which Impérium gives to the Planet Dune in the Romance and the romantic cycle homonymous of Frank Herbert.

Arrakis teaches the attitude of the knife: to cross what is incomplete and to say “it Now is complete because that is completed here”

This planet is only and single source in the universe of the Épice.

Arrakis is a crushed desert planet of heat where survive of the natives, the Fremen, which call it Dune. It is also populated of towards giants who attack all that ventures on sands of planet.

The planet was a stronghold of the Maison Harkonnen before she is entrusted by the Empereur to the Maison Atréides to the beginning of the Romance , thus creating the bases of the confrontation between these two big families of the Empire.
