Aroutj

Aroutj is a Armenian monastery located in the area of Shirak, in the south-east of Gyumri.

Aroutj is composed mainly of a church, which one names cathedral because of his size. Completed in 670, she is regarded as one of the masterpieces of religious medieval architecture in Arménie. Some Khatchkar S was built with the Middle Ages; they are dispersed around the monument.
