Arok the barbarian

Arok the barbarian ( Thundarr the Barbarian ) is a Televised series of American Animation in 21 24 minutes episodes, created by Joe Ruby and Steve Gerber and diffused between the October 4th 1980 and the September 18th 1982 on the network ABC. In France, the series was diffused starting from the September 21st 1983 on TF1 in the emission Vitamine .

Towards the end of the 20th century, a Comet emerges from the bottom of space, dividing the the Moon into two and causing an immense terrestrial cataclysm. Human civilization is reduced in ashes… 2000 years later, a strange world reappears of the ruins, a world dominated by higher spirits assoiffés of being able. But a man draws up himself to make respect justice, helped of his companions, Ookla the humok and the Séléna princess. He puts his force, his courage and his fabulous sword of fire to the service of a fight without end against the forces of the Evil. It is called… Arok the barbarian!
