Arnold Sowinski

Arnold Sowinski , born the March 17th 1931 with Liévin was a goalkeeper French.

Arnold Sowinski is a former guard of Racing, he for example took part in the season 1955/56 where Lens finished second of Division 1 behind Nice. But one will especially retain of the character his devotion as a trainer. Indeed, in 1969, it took again the lensoise team at the edge of the bankruptcy and succeeds in going up the club of CFA in D1 while passing by a championship of D2 as well as a final of Coupe de France in 1975 and one participation out of cut of Uefa. Unfortunately it will leave over a springtide Lens in D2 in 1978. He however will be recalled twice thereafter (in 1979 and 1988 per 18 matches) and twice again isolated but will remain however with the club!
