Arnold Harberger

Arnold C. Harberger , 1924 (Newark, New Jersey), American economist , person in charge inter alia " Triangle of Harberger " , used largely in the field of the economy.

It is the triangle which represents in a graph of supply and demand, the Dead loss (Deadweight loss). This one is the measurement of the inefficience in the allowance of the resources; equal to the clear reduction in the total surplus (the consumer's surplus plus the surplus of the producer) which results from a production ceiling below its efficient level.
