Arno , of its true name Arnaud Charles Ernest Hintjens , is a Chanteur, and a Belgian Acteur , born the May 21st 1949 with Ostend. It is a Flemish of French expression (but Dutch-speaking of native tongue) which uses also sometimes English in his musical works.

Biography

In 1970 it forms its first " group; Tjens Couter". It is at the origin of the group TC Matic (initially called TC Band of 1977 with 1980). The group separates in 1986 and Arno launches out in a career solo. Initially on Virgin, it signs then on Delabel. In 1991 it forms the group Charles and Lulus which will not last a long time. He was also actor in 1996 in Camping Cosmos of Jan Bucquoy and in 1997 in Alors, here are of Michel Piccoli. For the little story, he was the cook of Marvin Gaye when he resided at Ostend (starting from 1981). He received 5 times the Humo' S Pop Poll Award of the best Belgian singer.

He makes known himself in France of the general public following his participation in the original soundtrack of the film Merci the life (1990) for Bertrand Blier.

Belgian, it is known for his voice broken with the Tom Waits and his touching texts, sometimes impressed naivety.
