Arne Beurling

Arne Beurling , born the February 3rd 1905 and dead the November 20th 1986, was a Mathématicien Swedish. He was professor with the Université of Uppsala of 1937 with 1954, then with the Institute for Advanced Study with Princeton with the the United States.

He mainly worked on the harmonic Analyze, the Analyze complexes and on the Théorie of the potential.

In 1940, it succeeded all alone in deciphering a machine Siemens and Halske T52, used by the Nazi Germany, and created a device which made it possible the Sweden to decipher the téléscriptées communications German between Sweden and the Norway. Thus the Swedish authorities learned the preparation from the Opération Barbarossa before its release.
