Armistice of Moudros
By the armistice of Moudros , the Ottoman Empire (represented by its Minister for the Navy, Rauf Orbay) capitulates to the allies (represented by the British admiral Arthur Calthorpe) in the port of Moudros on the island of Lemnos the October 30th 1918.
This armistice put an end to the war between the Ottoman Empire and the allies during the First World War and the Othomans have to give up their Empire (except a small portion of the Anatolia). In the the Caucasus the Ottoman Empire has to find its prewar borders.
The Treated of Sevres (1920) which imposes the creation of a Kurdistan and of large a Arménie returns into force, which enormously weakened Turkish who thus loses most of their territory. Was followed from there a resistance armed vis-a-vis the allies, unified and directed by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.
