the armistice of Foligno mark end of the Republic parthénopéenne
After the abandonment of Naples by the Napoleonean troops, and the armistice of Trévise concluded by the Austrians (January 15th, 1801) the Neapolitan ones were only found to continue the war against the British and the partisans of the Cardinal Ruffo. They were constrained by Joachim Murat to sign an armistice the February 6th 1801 and to deposit the weapons.
