Armillaire color of honey
The armillaire color of honey ( Amillaria mellea ) is a Champignon Basidiomycète of the family of the Tricholomatacée S.
Description
- Hat 5 to 10-15 cm, spherical and closed by white a veil, then spread out, yellow clearly or mustard with brown reddish or olivâtre, strewn with more sunk wicks, especially in the center.
- unequal, white Blades then yellowish and sometimes stained the brown one. Sporée white.
- Foot 10 to 20 cm, slim but robust, clearly and striated with the top with a white ring , color of the hat and moucheté of white in lower part.
- white Flesh , becoming coriace in the foot. Savor a little bitter, light odor of soap.
Habitat
It is a mushroom very common to the autumn in Europe, which comes in large tufts on the roots, the stocks, even the trunks, of Feuillus like Conifère S. Redoutable parasitizes, it causes a " Pourridié " wood.
Edibility
The armillaire color of honey is edible honourable. As it remains a long time places from there before rotting, one will take care to limit oneself to the youngest specimens.Close species
The beginners will be able to confuse the armillaire color of honey with other lignicolous mushrooms pushing in tufts, in particular Pholiote S or Hypholome S (attention with the latter), but the only close species are other Armillaire S.
