Armilla
The town of Armilla is also a municipality, which is in the central part of the Vega de Granada (province of Grenade), to approximately 3 km of Grenade, and exposed to the south-east of Spain. This locality is bordering with the municipalities on Grenade, Ogíjares, Alhendín and Churriana of Vega.
History
Historically, the first existing registers, date from the Arab time, but it is known that the town of Armilla was under Romaine domination.Armilla was named Armillat Al-Aflum or Armilla LED Rio during the reign of the Caliph of Cordoue, city which was prosperous at the time, thanks to its very rich grounds, cultivated and negotiated for its cereals and its fruits considered for their qualities.
