Biography
Wire of the general August Aleksander Järnefelt and Elisabeth Järnefelt (born Clodt von Jürgensburg ), her brothers and sisters are Kasper, Arvid, Erik, Ellida, Ellen, Hilja Sigrid and Aino. The latter married the type-setter Jean Sibelius, a friend very close to Armed Järnefelt.He studied the music with Ferruccio Busoni with Helsinki and with Jules Massenet with Paris.
As from 1905, he works in Sweden. He obtains Swedish nationality in 1909.
Armas Järnefelt introduced the operas of Richard Wagner in Finland while directing them to many recoveries.
