creation
Visionary and man of action, it founded:
• So that Spirit Vive in 1932 (recognized public utility in 1936) whose statutory objective, at the time of the creation of the association (which is in the economic context and social of the great crisis of the Thirties), was to help the artists and intellectuals of which number lived in unstable situations close to misery.
Thereafter, the mission of association evolved/moved to sensitize the general public with the social questions of our time via photography by creating the gallery Fait & Cause in Paris;
• les little brothers of Pauvres in 1946 (recognized public utility in 1981) whose action is devoted to the elderly and the people of more than fifty years in unstable situation;
• Frères of Hommes in 1965 (recognized public utility in 1988). The history of Brothers of the Men starts in 1965, in India, the day when Armand Marquiset discovers Calcutta.
Upset by the spectacle afflicting with this " capital of the misère" , it decides to create, as of its return in France, Frères association of the Men. It recruits volunteers ready to accompany it in India. Together, they will create the first Frères center of the Men with Calcutta and will distribute meals to the enfants.
• les brothers of the Sky and the terre in 1968 to come to assistance of the people isolées.
Its print remains related to its design of the single and irreplaceable value of each being as to a revolutionary practice of the assistance which its own formula translates: flowers before the bread.
