The Armagnac , completely innovator by his forms with sharp bilges, its light displacement (2,2 tons for 8m50) relative with the sailing ships of the years 1965-1970 and its construction material (CTP marinades), is a genuine small semi-deep-sea cruiser.
It lends itself as well to navigation as a crew as as a recluse, with the advantage of a great stability of forms, as well as road. Thus, it is stiff with the fabric and soft with the bar by all types of time (force 8 included); and solicits only little the regulator of Navik paces. Its plan of bridge, with broad front beach very, shearing of the bridge and broad gangways, returns Armagnac making safe by heavy weather.
Indeed, it goes back remarkably to the wind, in particular by muscular winds (6,5 nds per force 7 Foc pennies Inter and Steam Generator with 2 laugh; to see under Inter only, Steam Generator torn), quickly leaving its competitors under the wind. Under spi one can lead it to more than 12 nodes to planning.
The Armagnacs were delivered without engine In Edge, put it was not a handicap within sight of its performances with the veil.
The Armagnac TIM http://bruno.aizier.free.fr/sitearma/ will show you that Armagnac is rather spatieux, certainly with a comfort Spartan, to accommodate a family of 2 aldultes and 4 children, for 4 weeks semi-deep-sea cruisings to 400 miles of its home port, in full safety.
The Armagnacs are indexed and gathered in association Armagnac and Co http://perso.orange.fr/armagnac_et_compagnie/.
