Arkan Simaan
Arkan Simaan , born with the Lebanon in 1945, is a Historien of sciences of French language, although its formation is Brazilian. He emigrates with his family towards the Brésil at the two years age and is established with Anápolis, close to Brasilia.
In 1964, a military coup d'etat reverses the government of João Goulart, whereas it has just begun studies of physics to the Université of São Paulo. It engages in the movement trotskist. Continued by the police force and condemned to the prison, it enters clandestinity. Its name appears in several lawsuits, in particular in the IPM (Inquérito policial-militar, i.e. Enquête politico-soldier ) of the CRUSP (Conjunto Residencial da Universidade de São Paulo). By this instruction, the military government wants to make 46 students responsible for all agitation. Obliged to flee the country, Arkan Simaan arrives at Paris in 1970, where it gives up later a few years the political activity.
It resumes its studies of physics to the Université Paris VII, then of engineer at the Institute of higher learning of materials and the mechanical engineering.
After a short passage by industry, it decides to be devoted to teaching and obtains the aggregation of physics.
