Synopsis
In a Burgundian field, the marquis de Maubrun, worthy heir to the virtues and ancestral traditions, reigns on his family and his field, where no one does not dispute its authority. His/her Daisy daughter, in love with her neighbor Christophe de Conti, wire of a parvenu, does not accept the paternal refusal with her marriage. The death of one of its sons and the wind of revolt which blows on the other Maubrun heirs, force the marquis with an examination of conscience. Only its pride and its intransigence are responsible.
