Aripert

Aripert is a king lombard of Italy, wire of Gundoald duke of Asti and nephew of the queen Théodelinde. Noble catholic related to the ducal family bajuvare, it makes assassinate the king arien Rodoald and seizes the power (653). He endeavors to develop Catholicism in the duchies lombards and founds the sanctuary of the Saver with Pavia, capital lombarde. Died in 661.
