Aria is an airline company, based initially on the International airport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg.
After the stop of the regular service in January 2005, Arai was directed towards the market of the flight to the request. The plane was based with Coventry (the U.K.) and flew on all Europe and part of Africa for freight contract or passengers: West of the Ireland to the Romania, Faroe Islands with Dakar while passing by the the Shetland S.
The first 2 strongly negative fiscal years (assembly and regular line) penalized the growth of the company which nevertheless survived, refunded its debts and posted a profitability of 6% for 2005-2006 on only one plane.
Nevertheless the Beechcraft 1900 C used was sold by its owners (Danish Air Transport) and Aria was found without plane at the end of November 2006. Aria tried to rent a smaller apparatus (Beechcraft 90) but its technical state was so bad that it was returned to its owner.
In March 2007, Aria always seeks financial partners to take again his development on a market which she knows well and on which it is possible to develop.
Since June 6th, 2007 the company is in Compulsory liquidation.
