To 150 km in the west of the agglomeration of Hailar, city located in edge of the river, is the Lake Houloun Nour which in normal weather does not have any contact with the river. In the particularly rainy years, it happens that this lake, which normally does not have a Déversoir, overflows of its Right Bank; its water runs then until Argoun located at approximately 30 km. The Kerulen river which is thrown in the lake becomes an affluent of Argoun then; the course of the Kerulen-Argoun-Love unit has a 5.054 km length.
