Arget (river)
Arget is a river south of the France.
Geography
It takes its source in the the Pyrenees around 1600 m of altitude to the Rock of Batail, in the North-Pyrenean solid mass of the Arize, and is thrown in Ariège out of left bank with the foot of the castle of Foix. The valley of Arget is called Barguillière.
Arget presents a pluvio-nival mode (maximum in May, equal to 1,5 times medium flow, minimum in August a little higher than 40% of the medium flow). Its flow is rather regular and its rather constant low water level S in particular its because of grounds ic Granit thick, component of good reserves in the catchment area.
