Areism
The areism is a term of hydrology which characterizes a zone in which there does not exist any organized hydrographic network.
Details
The areism is thus the character of the deprived areas almost completely of surface flow either in consequence of an excessive permeability, or because of a non-existent relief (null slopes) in a little sprinkled area.
Example
Since the cast iron of the ices which recovered them, one observes an uplift of the shields on which are installed the Toundra S. These vast areas are currently primarily without a permanent river system. The Arctic tundras, remarkably, do not have in general an organized hydrographic network, little marked reliefs and they are little sprinkled areas.
