Areas of England

In England, the areas (in English: Government Office Area ) forms the first level of the cutting of the local government. Since 1998, the areas of England are nine:

England of the East ( East England )
England of the North-West ( North West England)
England of the North-East ( North East England )
England of South-east ( South East England )
England of South-west ( South West England )
Large London ( Greater London )
the Midlands of the East ( East the Midlands )
the Midlands of the West ( West England )
Yorkshire and Humber ( Yorkshire and the Humber )
