Area of Callao
The constitutional province of Callao , such is its official name, is located in the middle of the Peruvian coast . It is wedged between the province of Lima and the Pacific Ocean. It consists of 6 districts of which the town of Callao. It is the smallest area of the country. Here the 6 districts which constitute it:
- Bellavista
- Callao
- Carmen of Bequeathed
- Beaded It
- Punta
- Ventanilla
It is on April 22nd, 1852 that was born officially the Constitutional Province from Callao he also giving the title of " Faithful and generous city of Callao, asylum of the laws and libertés". Indeed, It is the people of Callao which allowed the independence of Peru.
