Ardeidae

The family of the ardéidés (or Ardeidae ) includes/understands the species of Héron S, brush S, Butor S and connected (Crabier S, Bihoreau X, Savacou, Onoré S and Blongios). It is about wader S of intermediate size to large (from 27 to 140 cm), with long nozzle, long neck and long legs.

Cosmopolitans except for the Antarctic, they have greatest diversity in the Tropics. They attend a broad variety of moist environments; some species are mainly terrestrial.
