Arc~en~Ciel (ラルクアンシエル, raruku year shieru) is a group of Japanese Rock. Also called Laruku " ラルク " (pronunciation Japan ease shortened of the arc~en~ciel), the group initiated in 1991 by Tetsu (low) is composed of Hyde (Chant), Ken (Guitare) and Yukihiro (battery).
Biography
Hiro leaves the group the year following its foundation, and is replaced by Ken at the request of Tetsu. The formation reaches its first stable base at the time of the departure of Pero and its replacement by Sakura in January 1993. Its first album leaves then this same year, on January 27th: Dune, which arrives quickly at the head of the sales. After having signed in a branch of Sony Records, the Rainbow leaves in July 1994 its second album, Tierra, which also meets a sharp success near the public.1995 is the year of a first round in concerts. In September is born the third album from the very known group of visual kei, Heavenly, which give place in its turn with a round, Heavenly turn 95, whose last concert is a success such as the totality of the tickets are sold in the 28 minutes space.
The following year, the group makes a great round of 25 dates through the Japan and leaves the December 24th its fourth album, True.
1997 is one year animated for Laruku. Sakura is stopped for detention and consumption of Héroïne. It is replaced with the foot raised by Yukihiro. The December 23rd, the group gives its first concert to Tokyo Dome, Reincarnation, which beats all the records of speed of sale, since 56.000 tickets are sold in only four minutes.
Yukihiro is established beginning 1998. The February 25th leaves the fifth album the group, Heart. In May, the group starts a gigantic round in 56 concerts in 47 cities.
Rare fact, in 1999 the group leaves simultaneously two albums: Ark and Ray, with a round in 12 concerts gathering 650.000 people.
June 2000 sees the exit of the eighth album, Real.
In 2001, it leaves a CD best-of its best individual with a new, Anemone.
The members of the group compose then the credits of end of the film Final Fantasy (Spirit Dream Inside) then devote each one to their career solo.
No separation is announced but the fans worry. Their return is announced shortly after a series in seven concerts to Shibuya on June 28th 2003.
The March 31st 2004 leaves Smile, their ninth album. The group reconsiders the front of the scene by also creating the 2nd credits of opening (opening) of the Anime Fullmetal alchemist (Ready Steady Go).
In 2005 leaves Link, the credits of opening and LOST HEAVEN the credits of end of the film Fullmetal Alchemist: Conqueror off Shambala.
A new album left in June 2005, Awake.
In July 2005 leaves the musical play Osu! tatakae! ôendan whose last level proceeds on the song Ready Steady Go' (Tetsu~version) '.
After a large round in August in Japan, and in other Asian countries, in particular in China, the members of the group devote themselves again to their career solo for the year 2006. The fans worry once again, but Tetsu, Hyde, Yukihiro and Ken announced in the last Music Station SuperLive that Laruku will still continue during long years, with, perhaps, a round in Europe.
A coffee/restoring entirely devoted to the group opens its doors with Shibuya. LARCAFE thus proposes menus composed by the members of the groups. The names of the songs mix then with the menu, such as for example Killing Tea.
At the time of the 15 years of the group, two concerts events are organized November 26th and 27th in Tokyo Dome. The concert proceeds like a temporal voyage recalling individual the 15 year old headlights of carière. To note the incredible interpretation of White feathers who is quite simply sublime. The concert will be diffused a few weeks later on private channel WOWOW.
A new song is interpreted there, which at present does not have a name. And finally, of multiple advertisements were made at the end in the concert of which:
- New individual in spring 2007
- A national round of more than 30 dates through the country
left it the DVD Chronicle 0 gathering certain clips of the group still difficult to find (in good quality at least)
left it the Five box live file gathering 5 live DVD of the group
April 2007 a new song of the name of Shine is interpreted by the group as BO of animates Seirei No Moribito.
The group takes again officially in May 2007 with the exit, the 30 of the month, of individual the Seventh Heaven (in French: Seventh heaven)
