Arctinos de Milet
Arctinos de Milet is a Greek poet of the Cycle. He probably lived towards 650 av. J. - C.
Its works are lost today, but one can have of it a good outline starting from the Chrestomathie of Proclos, philosopher of the V {{E}} century a. J. - C.
Éthiopide ( Αἰθιοπίς / Aithiopís ) is a poem in five parts thus named because of the Ethiopia N Memnon, which becomes the ally of the Troyens after the death of Hector. According to Proclos, the account is the direct continuation of Iliade . It opens on the exploits and the death of the the Amazon Penthésilée, and is closed again on the death of Achille and disputes it for its weapons between Ajax large the and Ulysses.
