Archipelago of Entrecasteaux
The archipelago of Entrecasteaux is a whole of islands of the Pacific Ocean, in Mer of Solomon located at the east of the New Guinea-News Guinea, near the Louisiades.
It is composed of:
- island Normanby, whose principal agglomeration is Esa' went to the north of the island;
- island Fergusson;
- island Goodenough;
- island Sanaroa;
- island Dobu;
- more one certain number of small islands and coral reefs.
It is separated from the New Guinea by the straits of Goschen and Ward Hunt.
Administratively, it belongs to the province of Milne Bay.
