Archie Comics

archie Comics is an American editor of Comic book S specialized in the series intended for the teenagers.

Archie Comics started in 1939 under the name of MLJ Comics (of initial of its founders: M aurice Coyne, L ouis Silberkleit, and J ohn L. Goldwater). The editor initially published stories of superman: The Shield (patriotic superman), The Makes , The Hangman , Roy the Superboy , Steel Sterling , etc

In December 1941, in Pep Comics number 22, appears the character of Archibald Andrews (archie), created by Bob Montana. This naive series and good-child, who sought to recover a little success of films of the series Andy Hardy (with Mickey Rooney), tell the adventures of a band of teenagers of the Massachusetts.
