Arched beam

The arched beam is a whole of Axone S connecting the surfaces of Broca and Wernicke. It is a network long associative fibers which belong to the higher beam longitudinal and which connect the auditive specific associative cortices and engine by circumventing the end of the Scissure of Sylvius.
A lesion of this beam involves the Aphasie known as of conduction, characterized especially by disorders of the repetition, whereas the comprehension of the language remains normal and that the word is fluid and grammatical.
