Archaeognatha

In old classifications, the Insecte S archéognathes form the first sub-order of the Thysanoure S, class of the Aptérygote S, group of the Hexapode S.

One now regards them as an order with whole share.

This group includes/understands species living mainly in rubbles, on the rock coasts, the cliffs, and which nourish algae rejected by the sea. When altitude does not enable them to nourish algae, they nourish Lichen S.

These primitive insects jump while making use of their legs and accentuate their speed using their elastic abdominal segments.
