Archélaos de Cappadoce is king of Cappadoce of 36 av. J.C with 17 ap. J.C
Archélaos was the second wire of Archélaos Grand Priest of Bellone of the sanctuary of Comana and called Glaphyra famous for its beauty. The father and homonym of this Archélaos had tried to reign on the Egypt with his wife Bérénice IV. The father of the last also named Archélaos was the famous general of Mithridate VI.
In 36 av. J.C Archélaos is named king of Cappadoce by Marc Antoine to replace Ariarathe X of Cappadoce, the last one representing of the family of the king de Cappadoce customer of Rome Ariobarzane I {{er}} Philoromaios. In testimony of its recognition, it provides troops to Marc Antoine for his unhappy forwardings against the Parthes.
