Arcadi Gaydamak
Arcadi Gaydamak (or Arkadi Gaydamak; in Russian: АркадийАлександровичГайдамак) is a business man and financial angolo-canado-free-Israeli of Russian origin and Jewish religion (born on April 8th, 1952 with Moscow).
After a childhood passed to Moscow in a fortunate family, Arcadi Gaydamak leaves in its youth for Israel before being established in France in 1972. It becomes there, in the years preceding the fall by the Berlin Wall, interprets near Soviet personalities, thus constituting a first network of relations which it will make profitable when it begins in the businesses, at the end of the years 1980.
Arkadi Gaydamak has four nationalities: Angolan, Canadian, French and Israeli. It is the subject of a warrant for arrest in France within the framework of the Angolagate (Affaire of the sales of weapons in Angola) and has a heavy debt towards the French tax department.
Business of the sales of weapons towards Angola
Gaydamak is devoted in the years 1990 to profitable businesses between Russia, France, Israel and Africa in the shade of Pierre Falcone. For this reason, it is implied in the Affaire of the sales of weapons in Angola (Angolagate).

Refuge in Israel
In 2000, incurring the largest payment of back taxes never required in France (nearly 500 franc million), Arcadi Gaydamak is aimed by a mandate of international stop since December 6th, 2000.

Failing to extradite Arcadi Gaydamak, Israeli justice should have questioned it on the facts which are reproached to him, which was not the case. The Israeli ministry for justice simply addressed to the parquet floor and to the judges, on May 2nd, 2001, a series of observations: the facts of “traffic of weapons” are not continued in Israel and the offense of “bleaching” did not exist at the time of the facts aimed by the investigation. The Israeli legal authorities also affirm that the warrants for arrest delivered by the judges comprise inaccuracies which they wish to see raised.
Policy in Israêl
Arcady Gaydamak is a new figure of the Israeli policy since the creation of its party " Justice sociale" in July 2007 with which it launched out in the race to the town hall of Jerusalem. It is currently largely at the head surveys at one year of the municipal elections. This election is not according to him " that a formality administrative".
Return to Moscow
He saw since 2002 with Moscow. The July 10th 2005, it announced that it launched out in the sport, becoming the official sponsor of the Israeli team of Basket-ball Hapoel Jerusalem. Gaydamak would have four passports, as a citizen of France, Israel, the Canada and Angola. Its fortune is estimated at 800 million dollars, even to more than one billion dollar. His/her son, Alexandre Gaydamak, born in 1976, is also a business man of international scale, which has just taken 50% of the football club of Portsmouth.
Repurchase of France Soir

on March 14th, 2006, Arcadi Gaydamak announced its resumption of the daily newspaper France Soir via its company Moscow News. March 28th, 2006, the business man free-Egyptian Raymond Lakah, owner of Montaigne Close, the holding which holds France Soir, announced an agreement with Moscow News for the resumption of the daily newspaper and the continuation of its publication.
