Arbaz

Arbaz is a common Canton of Were worth, in the District of Sion. Located on Right Bank of the valley of the the Rhone, it counted 617 inhabitants in 2004.

The commune of Arbaz was founded in 1877, when the village separated from the commune of Ayent. A big fire there take place in 1912 and an important part of the village was destroyed.
