Arbanats is a common French, located in the department of the the Gironde and the area Aquitaine.

Geography

History

the Seigniory of Arbanats, as of the XIIIe century in the house of the Viscount S of Lomagne, was in the direct mobility of the Archevêque S of Bordeaux.

Until the Revolution, the population was divided into " confrères" , inhabitants of old stock, and simple " habitants" ; this curious distinction was juridically allowed.
