Arbanats is a common French, located in the department of the the Gironde and the area Aquitaine.
Geography
History
- the Seigniory of Arbanats, as of the XIIIe century in the house of the Viscount S of Lomagne, was in the direct mobility of the Archevêque S of Bordeaux.

Until the Revolution, the population was divided into " confrères" , inhabitants of old stock, and simple " habitants" ; this curious distinction was juridically allowed.
