Arator
Arator is a Latin poet 6th century, born in Ligurie.
Raise of the bishop Ennodius, he is initially lawyer, then to advise of the king Athalaric, before becoming sub-deacon with Rome.
He writes a paraphrase in worms epic of the Acts of the Apostles, De Actibus Apostolorum , which he dedicates to the pope Vigile and gives on April 6th 544 to him. This edifying poem was very read with the Moyen-âge. One sees there daring allegories and speculations on the mystic of the numbers.
