Aragorn

Aragorn (“royal Value” in Sindarin) is a fictitious character of the novel of J.R.R. Tolkien, the Lord of the Rings . Wire of Arathorn and Gilraen, grandson of Arador, it is a Rôdeur, descendant of Isildur, heir to the thrones of Arnor and Gondor. As a descendant of the kings of Númenor, a longer life is granted to him; he dies only in 210 years.

In the film adaptation of Peter Jackson, the role of Aragorn is held by Viggo Mortensen.

Physical description

Tolkien gives to a short but detailed description of him in the Community of the ring : thin and large, with the dark hair “stained with points of gray” and a pale and severe face. Tolkien wrote that it measured 6 feet 6 inches is approximately 1m 97. It is also described like a man of a great beauty and with worthy and noble appearance.

Biography

Moreover, he avenges death for Boromir by killing Lurtz after a brief and hard combat.
